Common Ground for Common Sense

Fellow Citizens,

Washington State was named after one of America's greatest founders.  With its splendid attributes and abundant resources, you would think it would be nearly impossible to bankrupt a state such as ours, but  it is happening right before our eyes.  Special interests and social engineering have us careening towards the brink of economic disaster.

Government is an essential component of any society, but when government becomes both top-heavy and heavy-handed there must be a revolution at the ballot box.  For too long, we have succumbed to the hypnotic drone of bureaucrats as they have bought our vote with the money of others, while eroding our rights to life, liberty and property.

Our problems will only be solved by replacing the entrenched professionals with Citizen Statesmen who understand the principles of free enterprise, and who also understand the burden that the onerous taxes and regulations have placed upon our success.

With a majority in the legislature we can hold the Federal Government to the terms of the contract we know as the U.S. Constitution.  The only chance of averting our national disaster is for States to enforce this covenant, and to get government off of our backs and back on our side.  We will demand that the enumerated powers are performed - such as secure borders and an honest money system - while at the same time demanding they do no more than those things specified.

I have the experience, the passion and the desire to wage the fight that will be required to see this through. I ask for your support.
